Módulo Expositivo "La Javeriana 80 años" 2015

Project Details

"La Javeriana 80 años” Exhibition Module 2015

DESCRIPTION

The project proposes a modular, self-supporting unit built from timber boards and 4 × 2 cm battens, conceived as a lightweight, transportable, and easily replicable system for displaying photographs and documentary archives across different spaces on the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana campus.

Each piece, composed of five faces and a simple support system, can be arranged individually or collectively, allowing multiple spatial configurations and variable routes through the images. Rather than constructing a continuous exhibition wall, the system works through the repetition of 28 units whose thickness, edges, and spacing establish a more open and dynamic relationship with the existing space.

Located primarily in corridors and circulation areas, the structures gently interrupt everyday flows and create small choreographies of movement, in which the photographs appear progressively and in fragments.
